Wiring Question

I have (2) JLAudio 12W3-D2 subs and would like to mount them clamshell style in one 12" DB. They are running mono off from a MMATS D200 class D amp. The JL 12W3's are 2 ohm duel voice coil subs and right now I have them wired in a sealed enclosure for a total 2 ohm load. (Voice coils are wired in series and the speakers are parallel) When they are mounted isobaricly, the polarity has to be reversed on one of the speakers. Thats where I get a little bit confused. Do I just keep it wired the same, only switching everything I have wired to the + terminals of each voice coil to the - terminals of each voice coil on one of the speakers? Is there any more to it?

personally, since you essentially have 4 speakers ( 2 X 2 ) I would run the voice coils in parallel (getting 1 ohm) and then run the speakers in series. That way, you just need to make sure the series connection runs from (- to -) or (+ to +), instead of the normal (- to +). This will ensure the speakers are 180 degrees out of phase with the least chance of a wiring mishap. That would SUCK, as I'm sure you know.. you'd likely destroy the speakers. Hope this helps!
