Title: Headphone Output ?'s Post by rodge827 on 10/13/13 at 05:31:15 Hi All and Steve, This is my first post here on the Decware forum. I've been lurking here for years and thought it time to give up my voyeuristic ways! ;) I'm in the process of going from a dedicated 2 channel rig to a can set up, due to loosing my listening room to the return of my daughter and granddaughter. So; Is the headphone output connected to the tube output ? What is the measured output for the headphone stage? All of my music is still on those tiny silver platters and I think that the ZCD 200i would be a good way to retrieve the data. Chris |
Title: Re: Headphone Output ?'s Post by Lon on 10/13/13 at 07:27:21 Welcome Chris! I think that the headphone circuit is not connected to the tube output, as on the product page Steve writes: The stock variable headphone jack was left in tact (sic) and un-modified. Thus I'd say no. The headphone output I couldn't find doing a quick internet search. If you want to look for that specification, the base player that Decware uses is the CD-200i. |
Title: Re: Headphone Output ?'s Post by jameskk on 10/13/13 at 12:57:18 That is correct what lon said . being the owner of one . however the ipod dock is connected to the tube stage. Maybe the ZCD and Decwares headphone amp or ultimately the CSP2+/3. |
Title: Re: Headphone Output ?'s Post by rodge827 on 10/13/13 at 15:10:34 Lon and jameskk, Thanks for the replies. :) I must have missed the part about the headphone out being stock. It was late here in NJ when I read it and... [smiley=peanuts54.gif] My thought was to start with a ZCD200i and then move into a CSP2+3 or possibly a Taboo. 8-) Over all I'm trying to simplify my set up for space considerations. Chris |
