This model uses the latest Omega driver, the RS8. The cabinet volume(20X12X14) is similar to the Junior 8 XRS. Comes in Level 2 Walnut Finished. No scratches or scuff marks I can see.

If you own a Decware tube amp, this is a must try. It presents the human voice quite amazingly. Great for vocals, it's unbelievable. Instrument timbre is very accurate as well. One of my primary concerns is the lack of tweeter but the highs are more than adequate. Crashing cymbals sounds crystal clear. Bass is tuneful and clear but doesn't go as low as a good sub. Only goes down to 38 hz, so definitely not for bass heads.

If you are in the market for an the older RS5 base Omega speakers or an newest Junior 8 XRS. You should highly consider this one. It has 4X the surface area of one RS5 driver. Omega 10 year warranty is also transferable. It has 9 years of warranty left. It will be shipped in its original box.

Price is $1250 + $150 shipping and insurance. local pickup welcome.

"The RS8's are very well balanced and much more linear than the drivers they replaced. The sensitivity is close to 98dB and they are 8 Ohm. The over all tone is much like a RS5 on steroids. I'm very happy with the bass weight and dynamics.

Folks,
My Omega's (Super Alnico High Output and Compact Alnico Monitor) play so amazingly well with my Decware gear. I have played them across several amps from the 2-watt Super Zen to my 40 Watt ZMA, and my Torii and Rachel in between. It is about synergy and it exists between these two manufacturers and it has nothing to do with the numbers on paper. I'm not the only one who feels this way with respect to these two manufacturers.
