FYI, there is a nice looking Torii MKIII on ebay for anyone in the market. Pelican case and "Best Offer." Others can tell if this is a great deal but it sure looks pretty. :)

Sad to imagine how much "Mountain Hi-Fi" took it in trade for. Probably spit. It has been out there for a while. They're not serious about moving it; just trolling for offers.

Hey, I have two! And a Torii Mk II! The last six weeks or so I've been listening to the Taboo Mk IV and realizing that I love the SEP sound. . . and I have a pair of the 25th Anniversary Monoblocks on order. So I'm going to sell one of the Mk IIIs (and keep one, til my hands go dead!) and my Mk II and my Eddie Vaughn modded C amp and one or two CSP2+ preamps. I've got too much stuff, and don't have the need (nor the spousal permission) for multiple systems any longer.

I love the Mk III and won't part with both of them. But I don't need two.

Ha Ha, well, keep us posted. One of my brothers seems interested in getting into Decware but the new prices hold him back. A Torii MkIII would be a great way to go.

Always bid low, you don’t know if the other party knows what they have.
Truthfully $22-2500 would be about right.
Sometimes lowballing gets what you want.

Well, about 10pm cst I got an email saying this Torii MK III sold for $1750. So the speculation about what it's worth is over. $1810 shipped...
