I have a ZP3 for sale from 2012. It's as made with no additions. Comes with the tubes shown, a couple Tungsols and an RCA signal tubes, a Chinese rectifier and I don't know what the Regulation tube is. Condition is near mint with no obvious marks or damage. Black base. Works perfectly. Only selling it because I'm going vinyl free and it has been sitting for the last year collecting dust. Price is $800 including shipping and paypal fees if you want to pay that way. I sell on Ebay under "antfill" if anyone wants reassurance as to who I am. Please USA only

Hdrider - I purchased the ZP3. What tubes are you using in yours? Can you make some recommendations? At this point I don’t have the cartridge to do it justice, but that’s one of my next upgrades. Geno

Nice buy Gino. Rather than stress over tubes you might want to talk to, and buy from Steve. Put yourself in his hands. I'm sure you'll be pleased.
I am having amazing results with 60's RCA blk plt 12AX7/5751WA and Sylvania gray plt 12AX7A tubes right now! A lot of stuff can be had fairly cheaply on EBay $20 to $40 each for 12AX7 and 12AU7 types.

Geno - Congrats !! I would echo what Ace said. When you send it in to Decware for warranty transfer, you will need to order a new set of tubes from Steve, use these for at least 4 months or so, then you can start playing around with tubes. Getting the base line established is important, then you can judge your tube rolling experiences. Change one tube at a time, listen for a few days/weeks but keeping the set from Steve will always provide you with the reference point at which the ZP3 left Steve's hands and Decware. I will look at what I have in my ZP3 later today and post it for you. Let us know what your phono set up is when you get things settled. Thank you Chris and Ace. Great advice from y'all. I'm excited about the ZP3 but still have some changes to make before it will be up to par. I have a Pro-Ject debut carbon with a 2m blue cartridge. I will upgrade the cartridge in the future and then decide if I need to get a new TT. Thanks again guys! Geno

Great advice. One thing I'll add is that I started with the 2M Bronze and recently upgraded to the 2M Black. When you decided to upgrade your cartridge consider the 2M Black. It is amazing with the ZP3 and sounds a lot better in my system compared to the bronze.

I also have the 2M black (recommended by Steve when I was on the upgrade path 3 years ago.). It's been an awesome cartridge. Not sure but the blue might accept the 2m black stylus....worth looking into to save a few $$.

Usually an upgrade cartridge entails more than just the needle. Windings, mass nad geometry come to mind.

As I understand it the bronze and black share the same motor and the red and blue share the same motor.
