Title: Budget Mini Computer Sale! $75 shipped!
Post by Lonely Raven on 02/23/19 at 23:07:49

Hey all!

I'm trying to purge a bunch of stuff and clear out my house a bit.
I may possibly have a job opportunity that will cause me to move, and I'm panicking at how much stuff I have in this house...so this is prompting me to get off my butt and sell stuff I keep meaning to post for sale. :)  More stuff to be posted as I get to it! (tubes, speaker wire, etc)

These are older PCs that I was using to build my original Lonely Raven audiophile PCs. When I find a good deal, I buy a bunch!

Anyways, these are off lease, out of warranty Tiny Form Factor business grade PCs. Tiny (like 8" x "8  x 1"), durable, and using standard Intel i5 processor, hard dive and ram. These are *not* built up with Windows 10 and all the audiophile software and all that. These are just the hardware that I bought to build said PCs.

Here is what you get:
Tiny PC with Power supply
i5 Intel Processor
4GB RAM
300 GB Hard Drive
No CD Rom or WiFi though you can easily add that those via USB

I will fully test every USB port, network port, video port and features to make sure they work, then ship them to you for only $75 each.

These are 100% Roon ROCK compatible, as I used one myself for over a year. Can be a great End Point for audio using Windows, or Linux or any custom PC based audiophile OS. It's up to you.

If nothing else, it's a good, inexpensive computer for your kids. :)

Hit me up, as I'm looking to move these quickly. First come first served.

Note: can of mead for size reference only, not included in sale.   ;)

Pardon me Lonely Raven...  Is that mead autumnal?

In all seriousness, great deal on those PC's based on the parts list.  For someone on a budget that wants to stream Roon or even Audirvana, can't beat the price.

Good luck with both sales LR. I have a message out to a local computer guru to see if he's interested in the PC's.

Has anyone used the 8AWG cable you also listed for DIY power cord builds?

Quick question.  Are these fanless?
What is the other port on the back that isn't USB.  ESata?

The non-USB port is a DisplayPort, used for video out.

Hi,

I'm interested in buying one of your mini pc's. A couple of quick questions, what generation i5 cpu's do these have and do these have an hdmi out?

Regards,
Mario

Not the OP, but while they do not have HDMI you can use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to handle the conversion (DisplayPort can ship HDMI, just the wiring is different). If you want to use HDMI audio over DP I believe that's entirely possible, but I don't have any experience there.

They do have a small fan over the processor, but the only time I've ever had it come on loud enough to be heard, is when a customer asked me to put a high end i7 processor in the little box. Stock format, it is almost perfectly quiet.

I've made multiple power cords from it. In fact my current setup has a 9' power cord going to my P10, since I moved my gear far away from where I originally put my dedicated outlet. I typically loosely braid the 3 strands, and use rhodium plated "audiophile" plugs that have solid connections.

I have two of these PCs left, (possibly a 3rd, I still have to install a hard drive and test before I'm conformable selling).

Message me if you're interest, but I have two ready to ship right now!

Last of these budget PCs is is on hold awaiting payment!

I'm going to go through the stuff in the closet and see if I have any more machines that are worthy of selling to Decware friends. I know I have a laptop or two that just needed hard drives (and full testing), and I may have some of the newer tiny desktops that I didn't sell because of a bad WiFi or something else that can easily be replaced. So I may have a few more computers up soon, but for now, consider this batch all sold!
