Title: Imperials or other for ZMA Post by FarmBoss on 07/23/19 at 00:26:36 Last April storms ripped off the roof of my barn completely destroying it. Which gave me the opportunity to rebuild with half being turned into a heated room 24 x 48 with 16 foot ceilings. I am thinking of building some really big speakers to go with my zma. Currently using Pendragons. I have been looking at the imperials but want to consider all options. Any ideas would be appreciated! |

I thought of the imperials right away as well. https://www.decware.com/imperial.htm these speakers seem like they would be perfect for a room as large as yours. And then there are these https://www.decware.com/cgi-bin/yabb22/YaBB.pl?num=1561942815 which seems like the 10's and 15's together could make for a good time as well. |
Title: Re: Imperials or other for ZMA Post by FarmBoss on 07/23/19 at 10:37:26 Thanks for the recommendation. Those look pretty simple to build and have a WAF but as these are in my outbuild I do not have to worry about that. I think the imperials also use a 15 full range (×2)? I do not understand how to build of integrate the top horn yet. |

Title: Re: Imperials or other for ZMA Post by FarmBoss on 07/26/19 at 01:07:12 I will be ordering the Imperial plans tonight. I will keep it a single full range initially using those F-15 speakers |
