Title: Single-Ended, Ultra Linear, bridged in series? Post by Brian on 02/19/21 at 04:48:15 When bridging Single-Ended amplifiers in series, Decware does this in triode mode. Can this series bridging be done if a Single-Ended amplifier is built on the Ultra Linear pattern? Brian |
Title: Re: Single-Ended, Ultra Linear, bridged in series? Post by bobc on 02/24/21 at 12:51:34 I have two se84 clones built up with the Edcor 8K OPT, with UL linear taps wired on a switch. They are bridged, and work fine when wired UL. I dont have a conclusion if UL sounds better or not, definitely play a little louder. |
