When Steve's email was sent to us yesterday, I knew I would have to order a pair of Lii Song's version of the giant Betsy. I had the order form completed last night but decided to sleep on it prior to sending the payment. That was a decision that cost me $392 in shipping, as I was no longer one of the first five to place an order for this new speaker when I logged on to complete the order this morning.

I've been wanting to compare these big barrels to my PAP Quintets for several years, and now that desire will become a reality. I suppose I should do some reviewing of the threads on how best to break in Lii's 15 inch full range drivers. I'm also wondering if I should go ahead and purchase Steve's Fast 15 notch filters now, or wait to see how the system sounds without them.

Doug, please keep us posted on these once you receive them.
Very curious to hear about your experience, especially compared to your PAPs.

Currently it looks like the on hand stock is sold out. I waffled for a couple hours and then pulled the trigger. Must have been early enough as the order said free shipping. That’s a bonus. Hopefully the basement will be large enough for these as my primary room is not. They are beautiful looking and the price was just too much to pass on.
