After sitting in a closet for several years, the 8” Betsy Alnicos have finally reemerged. I made new top baffles for them. The main reason I liked the idea of a separate top and bottom, was so that I could swap full-range drivers out from time to time.

The Lii PT-10 is very tough act to follow, but the Betsy’s work their own magic. When I first started playing them, I thought, I did all of this for nothing, cause it sounded kind of flat. But I made some sound adjustments, and finally things got much better, and now I’m hearing what first made me love the open baffle sound.

Looks great Geno! Its nice to have an alternate set of speakers to work in. Im on the Klipsch a quarter, then the Omega’s a quarter. The room looks great as well. Take care,

Nice. I'm sold on Alnico's but mine are from the 1950's. Would love to hear yours plus the W-15's which on my wish list.
