Title: 6H23P-EB Tube Post by Tony on 10/21/24 at 17:40:41 I searched the forum and found only a few references to the 6H23P. I have a matched pair of Boi of these tubes and wondered if they were interchangeable with 6922's. AI says no, but I not found Gemini to be the last word on tubes. Some Forum members wrote about using this tube in their preamps, but any concerns using them in a Decware amp, like the UFO-25 or Sarah? |
Title: Re: 6H23P-EB Tube Post by ArtMan on 10/21/24 at 18:31:05 I've used a 6H23P-EB in my SE84UFO amp without any issues. You are good. |

Title: Re: 6H23P-EB Tube Post by Lon on 10/21/24 at 19:46:40 Will work perfectly. I've never been a fan of the sound of those I've heard but they always worked. |
Title: Re: 6H23P-EB Tube Post by Crazy Bill the Eel Killer on 10/22/24 at 14:04:43 I've got a matched pr. of SLN cryoed 6H23p-eb that I purchased ( I think ) from the Tubeman many years ago. They are easily in the same league as my NOS Amperex and Valvo 6922. I used them in the input section of my SE84CSEX. You will not be disappointed if the tubes are still good. Cheers, Crazy Bill |
Title: Re: 6H23P-EB Tube Post by Tony on 10/22/24 at 16:27:52 Thanks Bill and all who answered my 6H23P question. I tested one of them out last night in the UFO-25, and it was fine. I'll test the other tonight. Tony |
