Picked up the new rack from Matt @ Timber Nation Friday. Assembled it yesterday and filled it up with my source equipment this morning. It has the 18" deep x 2" thick tiger maple shelves and cherry legs. Goes great with my Decware cherry bases and Caintuck Audio Magnum curly cherry Lii F15 baffles.

I can't say enough about the quality of the workmanship the Mart, Seth and the family run Timber Nation. team put into their products. The rack is beautiful and built like a tank weighing in at ~200 lbs.

That's a gorgeous audio rack HockessinKid.

It really compliments the fantastic equipment sitting in it!

I would imagine it will help dampen any vibrations and help sound quality.
Let us know your impressions when you can.

Tony,

The wide rack is 48" wide, 46" between the posts. However Timber Nation provides for customization of sizes. Shelf width of 18" or 20". Build time was about 15 weeks.

Congrats Roger! You don’t need me to tell you how much I dig this rack—-as I have something very very similar from BBA. As I increase my components, I now wish I had gone for the size you ordered!

Btw—I highly recommend the threaded stud glider from Herbie’s for decoupling the rack from the carpet (that was a rec from BBA). I’m OCD so I de-couple my individual components even further, but that was a good starting point.

He builds some nice stuff, I dealt with him a few years ago, upfront dude.
