Organic, smooth and analogue sound signature. If you love the tube sound signature you’ll love this DAC. Not clinical in any way, yet still detailed.
Upgrades from 2.1 and/or 2.1 Signature include: Signature upgrade with level I/V Transformer, BlackGates Caps, Gabriel Gold gold-plated wires to analog output board, second set of RCA outputs (labeled “digital”), RCA and BNC inputs with selector switch, Furutech Gold IEC and custom faceplate.
Excellent condition and work perfectly. Conservative rating of very good, but really no flaws. Unit has been used for about 1.5 year and has been in storage since then. It’s been in use for the last couple weeks and functions perfectly.
Includes all stock tubes needed to function properly. Lots of info on-line about tube rolling in this DAC, if you’re so inclined.
