Title: Decware metal chassis color Post by Bullandvodka on 11/28/24 at 03:04:26 Hi All, New member here. I searched but couldn’t find the answer. I was wondering if there was a significance to the Decware amp top plate chassis color. Some appear to be black powder coated and others silver (or maybe bare metal?). Maybe it means nothing and it is just a different supplier?. Perhaps it denotes a trim level or technical attribute like max voltage? Maybe it is the time period the model was developed and just simply the style of the time? Is there a rhyme/reason to it or just the visual aesthetic Decware thought the model should have? Thanks in advance! |
Title: Re: Decware metal chassis color Post by Donnie on 11/28/24 at 03:32:03 Welcome aboard Bullandvodka. There isn't any huge significance to the top plates. I seem to remember that the rejection rates of various colors were higher than other colors. White was a thing for a while, now the crinkle look seems to be the going thing. Now if your amps are red, well those are special! |
