LP 1 of 6. Early in the 'nineties I bought the 5 CD version of this CBS France LP box set. . . I love this music. I also have a lot of this music on volumes of "The World of Duke Ellington," US Columbia LPs. But I found this unplayed box set really cheap via a seller in Japan and it arrived today. I'm like a little kid bouncing with joy. Lucy is amused at my excitement. Great sound!

Well the LPs are sonic bliss. I love this album.

Willie got a great sound out of the Jazzmaster, which is such a versatile guitar. This is the original LP that is reissued here with one newer track added:

This was one of the first LPs I ever purchased for myself as a teen. Most of the material was too heavy for my young mind and I was a bit disappointed. 20 years later I pulled it out and now it is one of my all time favorites.
