Listening to this one again, headphones this time. Excellent music. Really good sound. Like most Resonance Records a bit more two-dimensional than perhaps it could be--something about the way they clean up the tapes I think. But jeez the music! And definitely a good trio recording (originally recorded intended for MPS Records release) with all instruments well presented.

They definitely improved the sound of the Redbook remix (no Peter Mews mastering, all just a straight remix by Steven Wilson). Right now listening to the 24/96 version of the remix on DVD 1.

Reply #10889 - 04/25/16 at 18:40:13 Rolled some tubes this weekend using headphones and popping in a straight-sided Mullard 0A3 into the Decware ZP3 is giving me some of the most stunningly real sounding sound I've ever had from the system. The Decware ZP3 is just such a fantastic component.
