The 50's stuff is very good. I'll have to try some more current recordings. Spotify doesn't have a lot of his albums...most being on European labels or small labels. Mark.

Wilen is hard to find, I spent a decade between '95 and '05 getting all I could and I managed to do so . . . harder now, but I suspect in time that things will be easier, stuff comes and goes in and out of print. His work in France in his last decade is awesome.

I decided to open a box of records that has been sealed since my move to Dallas in the summer of 1990 and spent the last 5 years in a POD on my driveway in the Texas sun. So no surprise, it's warped...but playable. This had been unopened and the shrink wrap had shrunk contorting the jacket and record. Most others in the box don't have the same shrink wrap problem so hopefully they'll have fared better. I've pulled several. Anyone know where I can buy a warped record repair kit? I think I'll need it.

PS...the second side was unplayable. Tone arm was jumping...

This album isn't my style now but is good fusion recorded in 1986...
