Played a side of this yesterday (before the football started :) ) and it just floored me. My new Lowthers may be average in the scheme of things relating to full ranger rear horn loaded speakers but boy oh boy. The more the amps warm up the more the instruments become seperated.
I thought Scott LaFaro was awesome on bass but this album just went over the top. The power, depth and projection just filled the room. These babies are wicked.
The Rachaels are blooming.

That's a great cd. Japan is reissuing it next month and I think it will sound better and I pre-ordered it.

I did listen to those Santos LPs back in the day and I never bought my own copies. . . . I wasn't as impressed with them then as I probably would be today. They were reissued in Japan on cd but are now out of print. I may pick 'em up if I see them cheap enough.
