I listened to Dylan's "John Wesley Harding" on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab stereo SACD, and now I'm listening to the same title in the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab mono SACD. Both are excellent masterings of an album that I find fascinating. Though each SACD is mastered by a different engineer the tonality is very similar. The mono is punchy and fat sound, the stereo a bit mellower and a bit more mysterious seeming.

Dylan's music throughout his career fascinates me more and more as I age.

Breaking in a new pair of Sylvania 7308s I picked up cheap. Sound quite good, dryer and more dynamic than the Amperex. The Amperex will probably go back in because I'm so used to THAT sound but these are great too.

If you've never heard the Temple LP I would say it's well worth the price. You hear an awful lot of early Soundgarden in there.

(On CD of course) pre dated good digital at least that I had access to. I don't own TOtD LP, but enjoy some of the tracks, probably sold out by now..

I'm actually listening to this album via the differently sequenced material on the Mosaic set, disc 6.

I've let this set sit on a shelf a long time, time to revisit it. Not a big Billy May fan, and I enjoy little doses of Anita, not disc after disc. I may listen to this over the coming week one disc or part of a disc at a time.

Absence hasn't exactly made the heart fonder of this material, but it is a nice change of pace from what I've been listening to the last week and the mastering (by Malcolm Addey) is quite good.

I've been listening to "S- Town" a pod cast that is hard to describe.
It starts out as a murder mystery and evolves from there.
I at first thought that it was a piece of fiction because it sounds like a novel, but it is a true story.
I would recommend it for a long road trip because it is 7 hours long.
Yep, sometimes that is a day for me, drive 3 hours, look at a problem for a hour or two, and then drive 3 hours home.
Anyway, a good listen.
