This one keeps intriguing me. Some great material.

I played portions of it upstairs in the little system I'm putting together there, and downstairs on the main. There's no contest, the downstairs system is amazing. The upstairs is getting better. I have Sylvania 7308s as the inputs for the CSP2+ and the Modded C, and I just settled on short RCA straight bottled 5Y3G tubes as rectifiers in each. A sound that draws you in because it can't hit you in the face. I know the speakers are the weak links, but they do a decent job, especially the tweeters. And yes, I went to storage and got my 3 mete pair of xStream Statement cables and got that length to work, and it's an improvement, indeed.

Sad morning. My beautiful and talented 26 year old niece, a dancer and dance teacher in NYC, married on June 4 her one and only love, a talented film documentarian of 32 who had battled brain cancer twice in his early life, and right before the wedding had begun treatment for a brain tumor a third time. Radiation had failed to halt its growth and chemo had begun. . .but he passed away last night.

Sad that they had so little time together in a new life. I know her heart is broken, they found each other, were so sillily in love, the good happy love, and now it's extinguished.

I reached for this, even though his mother called him Johnny.

I would assume your tube is made in the same factory...does the date code begin with a delta? What is the number after the delta? Mine are version 163s. Mark.

Yes, it's made in Holland, Mark. I took a leaf out of your book and went for a slightly used tube. £19.99 a bargain. Re ally am pleased with it. I'll have to get back to you on the codes, when the systems off I'll have a good look.

Giving them 20+ hours before I spin vinyl again...so far I am very happy with the sonics coming from CD's....Nice!

This is the latest Sony budget reissue that shares the mastering from the 2001 DSD HQ Disc reissue.
