The Miles Davis "Porgy and Bess" SACD from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has landed. Uses the Wilder remix. Mastered by Shawn Britton.

Interestingly, alternate, new packaging: the gatefold is smaller in dimension than its predecessors.

Listening now. I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't have the original mix that would have been nice to have on SACD. Must say does sound quite good.

On disc 3 now. This set reissues material I've listened to in various versions over three decades, and also about 80 minutes of additional material. It just has never sounded this good; even though these are from mono tapes and the previous issues stereo, the sound is still much better.
