I haven't played this in a long time. Not sure why it is SOOOO good! It does tend to age you a little as some of what he mentions is no longer around but I remember (I'm old)
It was recorded over four sessions in July in the Los Angeles Record Plant studio in front of a small invited audience set up to recreate the atmosphere of a jazz club.
