A good starting point is the two cd box set "I'll be Seeing You" on Decca GRP. Nice overview of the Decca years in decent if not spectacularly great sound.

I ear wigged one of your posts Lon and backed the CSP2+`s pre/outs down a couple of clicks and turned the volume up to compensate. I do believe I`ve hit a sweet spot on the CSP at 75%. This album is cavernous.

Reply #6794 - 01/31/15 at 00:12:25 Put in this old favorite as an evaluation tool--in the system at Dad's I swapped out the Torii Mk II for a Torii Mk III with Jupiter caps, and the CSP2+ without Jupiter caps for one with Jupiter caps. Not a HUGE change in the sound but significant.
