Sounds beautiful. I think of the beautiful sounds of my systems and why I would want to improve on any of them. It's a sickness in me that I hope to cure with the next phase of my life. My main system just sounds AMAZING. It doesn't have that "more than real/artificial sound stage" thing that you can get with a fully treated room, but that sounds less and less like music to me and more like playback. My system really does sound like music to me and I've worked really hard to get it where it is and it's done. My other systems too, though they'll be dismantled for the most part. I have to spend the next few months dedicating myself to a move and in my new place, with my next wife, there won't be room for multiple systems nor money to upgrade the way I have. I am going to have to stop lusting after the newest Decware items, etc. and dedicate what money I can to music recordings themselves. It really is about the music, and I love so much music, jazz, classical, blues, Brazilian, some rock. . . I can happily explore music the rest of my lfe!

Got my set this afternoon, but as I had to rush my Dad to the emergency room and admit him to the hospital (I think he's going to be okay), haven't heard much. But man, it sure sounds GREAT. Excellent booklet as well.

I'm a huge Eddie Condon fan, have most all of this material already, but all in the same excellent mastering, with a huge booklet, a real treat for me.

I listened to the Jarrett CD I began yesterday and now this... While the storm rages on outside. The sirens were screaming earlier because someone thought they saw a tornado...just heavy winds. I hope I don't get anything too bad, my car is parked outside and the softball sized hail that others in Texas have gotten would do some real damage. Mark.
