So Syd, what'd the green WE's end up costing per foot?...in pounds or dollars...I can convert. Where was the seller? I changed my order as I told you and now have four 10 foot lengths of the WE 16g coming...two red, two black, for a dollar a foot plus a few for postage. My seller will be back from his Canadian Vacation tomorrow. Mark.

The photo makes them look rough, they are quite nice, about the same shade that my light red ones are that I got from the seller you`re using. Black inner sleeve. They sound a bit more refined.
They may carry an extra premium in price because they are older WE`s. No they are cheaper than I thought. I might get some more. :)

This albums quite dreamy and Paul Motian gets plenty of channels for his drum kit.

So Syd, 11.70 pounds equals $18.20 and 10 meters equals about 33 feet so you paid about 55 cents per foot...a bargain. Mark.

PS... 5 meters ...so it would be about $1.10 per foot...about the same as the american seller.

PSS...Syd, I looked at the ad...it says 10 meters for 11.70. Was that a mistake?

PSSS...my calculations don't include postage....5 pounds would be $7.78 USD... So, including postage, if you got 10 meters it would be 79 cents per foot...double that if you only got 5 meters

It sounds really good, in line with the other MoFi Miles releases. I'm not sure it's better than my other recent KOB reissue though, the Ultra HD 32-bit. That sounds incredible. Just Redbook, but newly mixed from the original tapes and sounds so full and natural.

I woke up at 2 AM today but I had gone to bed at 8:30 pm...so I got up. I wanted to watch CNBC but there was a Coin selling program there. I turned on TCM and watched a bit of "The Swarm" from the 70's...somehow I had managed to miss it until now. I could only take about a half an hour. I know "Disaster" films from this era are almost always bad but this has to be the worst. It did have an amazing cast....perhaps all giving their worst performances on film.

Anyway, I've pulled out the Keystone Bill Evans Box and put in the first CD. The music is excellent but the background noise of the recording is far too great to choose this box over the far better recordings found on the 1980 Vanguard Box. Mark.

PS...I'll add that by the third tune you don't notice the poor recording so much and the music is stellar. It's hard to believe Bill would be gone in about two weeks.
