This one is not in good shape...a little noisy but it was graded at least VG+ by the seller (don't remember exactly)...I don't buy anything graded less. Need to find a better copy. The Mosaic box set material predates Lloyd by some years. The Impulse albums and a few other on small labels and I think one Columbia have Lloyd. Usually guitar instead of piano in these bands with Lloyd. I'm very fond of the Hamilton material.

I don't yet own the set. Trying to limit my vinyl purchases to highest recommendations found on this site actually. Really enjoyed it. And sounds like I should have it on my short list.

No problem Core, glad you tried it. For others who want to try Art, the whole box set is on spotify, plus lots more.

I found this LP, it is a galaxy sampler with six different Sax players doing one song each...Art Pepper does "Yardbird Suite".

PS...Core, the first 6 tunes you listened to were the Art Pepper "Today" album I posted earlier.

The sound is beautiful, especially with the new Yale firmware for the DS.

The version of "Skylark" is wonderful here although not very adventurous...I guess you could say that about the whole CD...pleasant though...
