I meant to buy the Music Matters 45 RPM reissue when I had the opportunity but as often happens, didn't get to it before the sale expired...it was 15% off the MM 45 series and a general 10% sale. It was a sale like this where I acquired my last large batch of 45 rpm blue note reissues...

I tried something different to tone down the added bass from the Mullard 12AX7. I put the Omega Deep Hemp gain back to 12 o'clock and used the bass controls on the Torii to tighten up the bass...seems to work well. Both these LPs have a lot of Bass in the recording.

Just a thought and question.
I just realized that I post in this thread a lot, mostly streaming music that I have playing, yet the title is "What's spinning?"
That would seem to more or less point at vinyl and possibly CDs / DVDs.
I know Lon started the thread and I hate that I may have hijacked it a bit for a different purpose.
The question is, would it be preferred that I start a separate thread, say "What's Streaming?" or some such?
I don't mind and probably should have asked earlier.
Or if it's deemed I'm not violating the spirit of the thread I'll just leave it as is.
I'll always check in here to see what others are listening to either way.

Alabama Shakes has this cool vibe of Blues, Soul, Country Rock (ala Lynyrd Skynyrd) and even some Aretha franklin thrown in.
