I have no idea when or where I bought this CD but the why is obvious. This is the first time I've listened to it...so far, very nice...

PS...this is very well recorded...I had to pull the insert to find out more. It was recorded in 1992 with Eddie Gomez and Jack Dejohnette, both played with Bill Evans. Bernie Grundman did the mastering...job well done Bernie!

Just fired up the monoblocks and this is the 1st CD...

PS...any good Black Friday deals guys? Besides the above, I ventured out to a store on Black Friday for the 1st time this morning. I arrived at the Office Depot about 7:45 and was about 6 or 7th in line. When we were let in those who wanted the advertised computer and monitor deals were told to line up in the same order as outside to take our turn at the service register behind which were all the "Deals". I was out of there in less than 10 minutes with a nice Dell Laptop computer...my back up laptop had recently died...paid $439...$210 off. The whole thing was rather anti-climatic...no running or pushing, not one fist fight broke out for a coveted bit of merchandise, no women pulling hair over printers...nothing!! Not at all like the video they run on CNBC every year.

Lon, I know I have Keith Jarrett's "Staircase" on Vinyl purchased in the late 70's but to tell you the truth, I don't remember listening to it. I went to Amazon and read the 17 reviews then to all music guide and read the review there. At all music the review wasn't very complimentary but still the album was given 4 out of 5 stars. Now I really want to listen to this...hope I can find it soon. No ECM albums are on spotify. Soon I'll fire up the Monoblocks and put on some KJ. Mark.

A large is correct. The ones bigger than that I hear take a full bag of lump to fill!
I filled this one after a good cleaning and it stayed at 275F for 7 hours, adding nothing but air. The turkey was finished and I shut off the vents. I usually have a couple more regular grilling sessions left out of the remaining lump that has not burned.

TV off...Zen Signature Monoblocks on. At times like this Keith Jarrett or Bill Evans are called for...the first track can only be called glorious...a version of On Green Dolphin Street...CD 5 of 6...

PS...the first track was over 21 min. Now a wonderful version of "My Romance" oh my...

PSS...I have to listen to "My Romance" one more time then have to run...
