Mullard EL-34 Tubes - SOLD
05/20/14 at 19:01:47

I have four EL-34's for sale which were purchased from Andy at Vintage Tube Services.  Bought the first pair in Dec 2012 for a Decware Rachel amp and the second pair to match the first in May 2013.  From that point on I used the 4 tubes in a Decware Torii amp.  I have multiple amps and estimated hours I put on these tubes is between 100 and 150.  Price is $80 per tube.  NO CHARGE FOR SHIPPING OR PAYPAL.

The description on the invoice for the 1st pair:
Perfect mirror matched pair, perfect micro matched current.  Later 1960's.  Lightly used.  Branded RCA.

Codes on this pair, on the glass near the base, very faint: X f 2 and below that B8D1 and second tube X f 2 (I think, extremely hard to see) and below that B0L2.

The description on the invoice for the 2nd pair:
Nice mirror matched pair, micro matched on current.  1968 date code on Amperex branded unit.  Lightly aged.  Matched to previous set.

Codes on this pair, on the glass near the base: X f 2 and below that B2K1 and second tube X f 2 and below that B8H4.

These are listed on Audio Asylum with pictures

Do you still have a Rachel and ability to show bias when in that amp?

No I do not.  They made beautiful music in the Torii.  If interested in buying these tubes, I would sell them with the right to return if they don't test to the buyers satisfaction.

No I don't.  They sounded great in the Torii I had.  I'd sell them with a return guarantee if they didn't test to the buyers satisfaction.
