Hi All, I saw Steve's listening room diagram (see link below) and he shows a 10'arc from the speakers to listening position . My DM 947 Monoliths (w/TorII MK4) are approx. 7' from my listening position. I realize there are many factors in the room that can affect the sound but was curious where you place your speakers? Near field, against the wall, 10' etc...

It does bring the speakers out into the room somewhat but I am fortunate enough (read wife's approval) to have the entire basement setup as the "listening room" :)
