Like is 12ax7 tubes also ecc83, 7025, 7729? you get the idea, the list goes on. When I search the 12ax7 a dozen other numbers come up….so do those number work also?

This is tube seller Brent Jesse's pages, this is for 12AX7 and you can select from the hello boxes other types.

He gives the different numbering for US and Europe and the different types that can be substituted and some info about each. Quite a good reference.
