Big Betty and super tweeters

I've been following the open baffle threads with great interest.  I've also been reading up on super tweeters and their use.

Could these two technologies be combined with any kind of success? What would a Big Betty and super tweeter sound like if combined?

I think supertweeters add something across the spectrum (not just the high end) and to the image, but tried them with my Big Betsys and didn't think they added enough to keep them in my system.
