Black Friday, what did you get? (Read 9611 times)

I just jumped back into the Decware camp and ordered both the SE84UFO25 and the ZROCK2 with all the fixins'. These should mate nicely with my Omega SAMs. For a while I had a Mini Torii which, honestly, I never warmed up to. It was indeed a great sounding amp, but not for me at the time. I sold and moved on to First Watt. But, the Decware Zen had a long time hold on me since I first heard it five years ago. I could never get beyond how clear and vivid music sounded with that amp. Not sure why I never bought it in lieu of the Mini Torii...perhaps the bigger the better syndrome. Nonetheless, I am delighted I waited, and as Steve Deckert said years ago during a conversation we once had unrelated to his amps: "sometimes you're rewarded for waiting."

Let's hope so.

Reply #8 - 12/04/19 at 00:58:06 I am new to Decware and ordered the ZMA with all the mods plus a platform for it and a zbit. I had a PrimaLuna Tube amp before and was not impressed. This will be my second time trying Tube amplification, hoping for a much better experience.
