Reply #1053 - 01/09/25 at 22:45:32 I've checed it nearly everyday since I ordered in March and I was on page 13 at first. It made it to page 12 around the end of April and by the end of October got onto page 10. Now I'm over half way up page 10.

I've moved up to 12, and there are only three others ahead of me that are not "Parts Pulled," "On the Bench" etc. Getting excited!

Definitely another good thing about good quality hi-fi, no costly repairs. One thing tube amps seem to have in common with vehicles is they both run better after warming up.

Yes, I've been lucky. I just replaced the original battery in this 2015 car, a battery has never lasted this long for me before, 42,000 miles and nine years. And this most recent big repair wouldn't have happened if I didn't live in the belt buckle of the NE Ohio snow belt and had a garage. No garage. . . transmission pan and exhaust supports and junctures rusted out almost entirely.

It's been a good car and this is the first big money (well for me) that I have had to put into it, so I'm knocking on wood. Now that my Dad is no longer around and I'm not making 110 mile round trips twice or more a week to tend to him and hang with him, it doesn't get many miles on it. And it has a cd player and system that sounds decent enough. I'll probably be keeping it ten more years or so.
