Are there any BACCH users here?

IMHO/ BACCH is without a doubt the single best bang for the buck thing you can add to your system (period)!

BACCH starts at $1K for what I believe brings the music to you in your home like you are at the actual recording, instead of listening to the recording through two speakers.

If you haven't heard it, you must, because it's a game changer.

FYI/ Just traded up from the intro version and got 100% credit for what I already paid towards the Audiophile version.

While we are waiting for our Decware Sarah 300b amp, (two years now) we are using a Dennis Had 300b amp and that setup is great. We can’t even imagine how good it will sound when our Sarah comes home.

It’s amazing but not easy to describe to people as it deals with cross talk cancellation. Easily the best upgrade to anyone system. Did you buy from Edgar or Jason?

BACCH is coming out soon with (ORC) Optimal Room Correction. They talk about it at the 15 minute mark of the video, that is another game changer from Edgar.

You might want to contact them ASAP, because people that already own BACCH might be getting a free Christmas present (not sure of the time line).

Hey Steve, small world I was actually on this call with Jason. I know all about the ORC I’m waiting to receive it as I already have rack and EDGAR is looking for some beta testers.

I’m curious how you got turned on the Bach did you see it at a show? Jason really is one of EDGAR‘s largest dealers and has put a lot of time into marketing it. I’ve got mine running through my Tori five and turntable, and they work perfectly.

As a matter of fact, we’re not really sure where we heard about BACCH. I am a reader and watch YouTube videos a lot. We might have seen one of the “Audiophile Junkie” videos.

We’ve had BACCH4MAC intro for over a year now.

We’re not sure what we’re more excited about getting the Audiophile version of BACCH or ORC. The great thing is we’re getting both.

BACCH made it easy to upgrade giving us 100% credit for what we already bought towards the Audiophile version. Plus adding ORC for free clinched the deal.

Wanted to bring this thread back up. Any new users to the BACCH? I feel like so many people are still looking for gains in their set up through the traditional even exoteric approaches while the BACCH with improve it in orders of magnitude. Once it’s in your system, you’ll never want to be without. Anyone that’s considering a new amp or even a new DAC really should look into first. It will fundamentally bring all of your gear up another two levels at least.

Reply #11 - 12/15/24 at 23:35:36 As impressed as I was with Absolute Sound's review of the Bacch system, I understood from that review that it costs $14,000, and so I stopped right there. I will google it and see what is available and at what price. Room correction would be at the top of my list before the rest would be implemented.

Sounds like you're really liking it! What's the difference between the "Audiophile" and "4Mac" versions in comparison?

BACCH is a 4th order fundamental system upgrade. There is no improvement you could make that would cause this level of change.

Not amp, DAC, or even speakers.

The audiophile upgrade gives you the ability to put microphones in your ears and run testing sweeps to customize the frequency to your specific ear pinna.

BACCH ORC is a room correction software module that will then take your specific frequency recordings and improve it in the sound of the room.
