ZP3 issues I had corrected
03/18/24 at 04:13:16

A awhile back I posted about my ZP3 intermittently  acting up. Low volume, no volume, one channel volume..All this was corrected replacing all tubes!

I was wasting my time switching out  individual tubes in all positions, some new , some not. Save yourself the headache and just replace all tubes.

You can thank me later

Looking for a Z stage if anyone has one

So I just ran into this issue tonight.  I noticed that my right channel was a lot lower in volume than the left.  I just acquired a used ZP3 last month, and was using the tubes that came with the unit….which I knew were old.  When I switched over to digital, there was no issues with the loudness of each channel with my SE84C+ amps bridged as monos.  So needless to say, I have to replace the front 3 tubes tomorrow.
