Mini Torii redesign? (Read 250 times)

Mini Torii redesign?

Was just rereading the Mini Torii page on the web site. Has there been a redesign? It now talks about different input tubes and El-34 output tubes. It that true or just a cut and paste error during homepage update?

Not thorough, but I just glanced through the MiniTorii page, and did find search, and did not see EL34s. I wonder if it could it have been the Torii Jr page you were looking at???

Not the torii jr. page. If you go to the Mini Torii page and scroll down towards the bottom and look at the specifications you will see. Also the tube rolling section has been removed as well.

I see EL84 tubes mentioned. That sounds like a typo to me, but I have no actual information.

I can't find it. I see EL84, but not EL34.

Speaking of type-o’s you are correct! EL84 not EL34. It probably is a cut and paste mistake.
It says Rectification 5Y3GT / 5U4 / 5AR4 tube rectification
Output tubes SV83 or EL84 / 6BQ5
Signal tube 6922 / 6N1P

I am not sure what is going on in your thoughts, but the SE84 amps also list EL84 and SV83 as options, so I am guessing there is no typo on the MiniTorii page.

The mini Torii traditionally uses the following tubes
Input-12au7 or 12at7
Rectifier-6x4 or 6CA4
Power tube- 6v6, 6l6, 6f6, 6k6, 6y6, or an 807
