Homemade plinth wrap

Very nice.  I like the brass corners; they would especially be nice on veneer to cover the edges.

Thanks Sentry!

I cut the pieces with a handsaw, and don’t have a saw to mitre corners, so there is a joint on both sides. The primary function of the brass corners, is to help hide the seam. A woodworker and craftsman, I am definitely not Smiley.  But it turned out pretty nice.

I had to do a double take at what TT that was, very nice. As a part time wood hacker, those miters can be difficult to get exact. Great workaround!

Thanks guys!  The plain black body needed a pick-me-up.

Now all I need to do is replace the POS platform the TT sits on. It’s just a piece of wood I cut to length and spray painted Smiley

Like what you did Geno. Turntable looks rich!

Here at camp, I been using a handsaw to cut everything for projects. A good sharp handsaw can cut well and efficiently. Love it! It is light, don't need set(except when sharpening),  no power cord,  and is music to the ears when in use.

Keep on sawing!
