EU Decware owners (voltage differences 220/240)

Hi.

I own a SE84C+ (labelled 240volt). Are there any issues/problems if I run it at 220 volt? Were and are the amps shipped to EU any different whether they are labelled 220 or 240 v???

Found some design notes for the SE84cs. I don’t know how it is with the newer models, but at that time they were wired 100/120/240

Any newer information regarding power transformer wiring?

I think your best bet would be to contact Steve with the serial number of your amp, that way you'll know for sure. But the current UFO amps have options for 220, 230 and 240V. Just my opinion but using an amp designed for 240 at 220V will not damage it (running it at a higher voltage might) but you will not get the best sound. Can you get a step up transformer for 220 -> 240V?

CAJames has the perfect answer here... set up a call with Steve for the best info.

In general principal I imagine going above your wired voltage would be dangerous, but running under voltage should not have harmed anything, in theory, if you had run it on 220 whilst it was wired for 240.
