I am with you Lon in thanks for your friendship and guidance, and for all this community that has organically grown in such interesting ways. It is pretty amazing to look back, a big progressive and rich story. Steve, Bob, Randy and all the Decware folks and forum contributors, so much has been freely given over so many years... For me this is a basis for experiencing musical immersion more fully, not least, including the healing potential from natural harmonics... something Steve has worked so hard to bring out in real and lively ways.
Taking in bits and pieces, day by day, being with such an intersting group of musical explorers, it seems sort of normal. But looked at in retrospect, what a great education and enhancement of life we have gained from one another...everyone in their personal pursuits having their own emphasis in the exploration, but all with a common thread of making the musical experience realer, more compelling and entrancing.
For me immersion in wild nature is a medicine I need, especially in these recent times of great loss. But thinking now, returning from a trip in the wilds not long ago, I am reminded how much harmonically awake music can have a similar purity and effect, pulling us into a more clear mind state, another amazing medicine we can use every day.
Thank you all!
