Ok here we go again with cables…I am not one to spend  big bucks on cables but I just discovered Veritas Cables, a relatively new high-end boutique cable company, on another forum site that I thought worthy to share.  They have many good reviews and a generous 30 day trial policy. They are compared to the likes of Audience, Snake River etc…(at a more reasonable price) so I thought I would give them a try.  Just received their top of the line Audax USB and Argentum RCA cables.  Right out of the box the USB sounded stunningly good in all ways.  I thought I had a pretty good USB cable in my Audioquest Coffee. The AQ coffee does not compare to the Veritas Audax.  Did not expect this kind of improvement and it’s not even broken in yet.  Later in the day I replaced my Audio Envy RCA cables with the Argentum RCAs between my preamp and amp and although they sounded excellent I did not hear the same improvement as with the USB change. I suspect with break-in may change the results. I’ll check back when more hours are logged. Not affiliated in any way just supporting small USA local business.
