In this slide, the good quality cable has been removed. Notice how the picture gets hotter, and looses even more body and warmth. This is aproximatly the quality level achieved by today's mass produced solid state "digital ready" receivers and multi-disc players.

When you look at this image, you strain to decode it but to no avail. You think you see the vague image of a man with a green head and yellow bib slouched back in the center, but basically you don't really know.

Notice that we are still in the apex, with the worlds best speakers. You may wonder how an ideally perfect pair of speakers could render such a thing but they can and will. Garbage in, garbage out.

You always hear only the weakest link in the playback system.
