The next step is to install the output transformers. These are installed by using an 8x32 screw and nut. Only one tab is used for mounting. This was done to keep the chassis looking clean from the outside. Once the bottom is installed these units are clamped into place. Before installing these you will also want to bend the unused tap slightly for better clearance.

These transformers are not shielded because they are installed inside the chassis. They are custom made from grain oriented silicon steel cores and are each scramble wound by hand, a rarity in output transformers.
